GO Bottle Cleaning Info

Make sure you GO use these best practices when you clean your GoBottle and avoid any NO-GO's with your Go Active lifestyle!

That is a GO on quickly and easily cleaning the bottle by hand:

We have made it as easy as possible to effectively clean your
GO Active bottle by taking an extra step in the manufacturing process to cure the inside of the bottle.

Similar to sanding a rough piece of wood into a smooth surface, our non-toxic electroplating process removes microscopic nooks and crannies leaving nowhere for odors or bacteria to hide.

For the best and most thorough cleaning, customers love our 3-piece Bottle Brush Cleaning Set.

This allows a detailed cleaning of the bottle, straw, and lid, including hard to reach places such as the bottom of the bottle and the lid grooves.

Avoid these NO-GO’s when using or cleaning your GoBottle:

That is a NO-GO on the microwave! Yes, we have gotten this question before, and NO, Do Not microwave your bottle under any circumstance

That is a NO-GO on putting the bottle on the stove or in the freezer.

That is a NO-GO on the dishwasher! We recommend you Do Not put the bottles in the dishwasher.

There are two important reasons for this:

First, the high pressure spray of most dishwashers will, over time, fade and alter the exterior color of the bottle.

Secondly, the high temperature and high pressure environment found in most dishwashers could potentially compromise the insulation properties of the bottle.

Other Tips

Some customers find it sufficient to fill the bottle partially with warm water, add a couple drops of dishsoap, put the lid on and shake, shake, shake. Then rinse and enjoy!

Customer Tip: From Laura in Seattle “When I use my GO Active bottle for smoothies and sugary drink mixes and forget to clean it after use, I find that 1⁄2 a cup of vinegar added to the cup and then swirled or shaken to cover any stains or smells does the trick every time.” Thanks Laura, great tip!

You can also create an all natural cleaning solution by combining warm water with approx.. 3-4 tablespoons of baking soda and making a paste. Use the paste in combination with your cleaning brush to hit any tough stains and leave your bottle sparkling like new!
