Hydrate Your Body:

Hydration of body is all about the means to make sure the physical body is taken care of through nutrition and fitness and learning how to challenge what you’re capable of.

We all know that we should be getting some type of exercise, but after getting the kids off to school, making sure the cat has food, getting home from work, and getting caught up on your favorite shows, where is the time to work out.  If that describes you, we get it. To help out with that we asked some local trainers in Phoenix what the best exercises were if you only had 30 minutes to work out. They had some great answers! Check them out here:

You can find that article here ---> 30 Minutes To Fat Burn

Hydration of Mind:
Hydration of mind means to be in a growth mindset and learning new ways to grow through podcasts, books, motivational quotes, and inspirational ideas to ponder.

Winter can be tough for many reasons, it’s cold, it’s dark, the holidays are over, everything just seems more difficult.  If that’s not enough, it is much easier to feel depressed during these winter months. We decided to research remedies to seasonal depression and found that walking was advised by doctors, psychologists, and scientists who study how depression works in the brain.

Here is a great article that summarizes the benefits of a nice brisk walk ---> Top 10 Mental Health Benefits from Walking

Hydration of Spirit:

Hydrating the spirit is making sure that life is full of joy and an abundance of smiles!

It’s been a long week at work or in the gym and you might be feeling drained of all energy and you are wishing you had a reset button. What if we told you that we found that reset button. All you need are two things

  • A dark room that we can lay down and close your eyes in
  • This soothing and relaxing playlist ---> Relaxation Playlist

This morning, our receptionist, Ariana, came into the office and noticed everyone seemed groggy and needed to hit that reset button. So, we all made our way into our biggest and darkest room and laid on our backs with our eyes closed and she played this playlist.

All it took was 15 minutes and our energy was restored for the rest of the day. Give it a try for yourself and let us know how it benefits you!

Today is World Down Syndrome Day!! This is a global awareness day that has been observed by the United Nations since 2012.

Why was March 21st chosen to represent this day? Well, the 3rd month represents the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome that actually causes Down Syndrome to occur.

Check out the official website for Down Syndrome International here to join the global conversation, find a way to help spread awareness, and to find an event near you!

In Case You Missed It:

The day has finally come. You've decided that you want to start today. No more, "I'll start tomorrow", or, "On Monday, I'm going to start getting in the gym".

You do well for the first week. Week two you stay on track and miss maybe a day or two. Week three instead of missing a day or two, you workout for only a day or two. By week four you're burnt out and back to old ways.

Sound familiar? Don't worry, you're not alone. I'm going to give you the 3 secrets that you need to know in order to stay on track not just for a couple of weeks, but for week after week after week.
